What is an API-key and what should I do with it?
An API only applies to Bancontact Pro integrated payment solutions. The sticker solution and payment app do not use an API.
An API key is a unique identifier used to access an API. It is used as a form of authentication, allowing developers to be authorized to use the functionalities or data available via the API.
Do you already have access to the Bancontact Pro portal?
Then you can find your API key under “Shops and products”. Go to the product for which you have an API, click on “API key management” and then on “Show API key”.
